If you are living in a two stories house, the location of stairs and also types of stairs influence your luck in feng shui.

Style :

Best style of stairs are the ones which have curves.

And also the ones which are not directly straight to the second floor.

If there are middle break areas between the stairs, it’s good.

Qi energy flowing slowly in stairs is ideal, and the materials which are better to avoid are stone and metal, because these materials make qi energy flow too fast.

The best way is to cover with carpet made of natural material.

If it’s not possible to put carpet on the stairs, place rug mats below and above the stairs.

Location :

* The stairs should not be located in front of the entrance door, or any door which is directly to outside.

Because qi energy can not flow smoothly around the house, and it’s flowing to outside if there are stairs in front of the entrance, and can not flow into the house.

So if you are living in the house which has stairs located in front of the entrance, it’s better to move to the new place which has better feng shui.

The best directions for stairs, East, Southeast, South, North.

* Best to locate it in one of the corner areas of the house.

* Stairs should not be located in the center of the house. It’s not good for family happiness.

* Unfavorable direction for stairs : Northeast

If your stairs in the house are located in the northeast direction, good to place sea salt in the top and the bottom part of the stairs.

This can fix the qi energy flow.

West & Northwest : Good to display statues which are made of stone or Brass or Bronze in the top and the bottom part of the stairs.

For around the entrance area , front yard way, hallways , qi energy flows smoothly by making the way in a shape like the letter “ S “, when looking at the area from the top.

In order to make the “ S “ shape around these areas, good to place plants.

Place one plant starting from left side of the hallway, and one plant on the right side, and then another one on the left side with well balanced shape.

You can also place or display lights or paintings instead of plants.

Basically, qi energy gets into the room, flows around all the spaces slowly.

And by placing these feng shui items, in the hallways with S shape , it can fix and balance the energy flow.
